A young talent of the London Gunners has set a goal of debuting in the Premier League, along with a place in the 2022 World Cup.

Emile Smith Rowe’s rise from Arsenal youth ranks

Marcelo Flores – 18-year-old talent, is evaluated by experts as equally talented as his elder brother Emile Smith Rowe. Flores played an important role in the Gunners youth team as he played as No. 10. The player born in 2003 regularly trains with the first team, but is still waiting for his official debut.

At the national team level, Flores made his debut for Mexico in a friendly against Chile in December. Although he only played for 7 minutes, it was a memorable event in the young player’s career. Recently, Flores shared: “Debuting Mexico was a night that I will never forget.

Marcelo Flores is considered a bright young talent.

All the players helped me to play well. Some of them are older, but I’m really close with them and I’ve been training really well. Playing is a very special moment for me and my family. Thank you coach for giving me the opportunity.”

Not stopping there, the 18-year-old talent set a higher goal: I want to make my Premier League debut before I turn 19 . That is my goal.

And I want to make my full international debut for Mexico and hopefully go to the Qatar World Cup. I idolize players like [Lionel] Messi, [Cristiano] Ronaldo and Neymar who have done the same thing.

My ultimate dream is to win things like the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or.”
