Tuchel speaks after the loss to Real Madrid
Tiemoue Bakayoko is one of Chelsea’s unsuccessful signings. He found no place at the Blues and was loaned regularly from the 2018/19 season. From AC Milan, AS Monaco to Napoli and then back to AC Milan.
However, despite his best efforts, the French midfielder still could not find his old form when playing at Monaco. And to the current 2021/22 season, Bakayoko continues to disappoint and has only played a total of 17 matches in the Rossoneri’s shirt.
Recently, the Calcio Mercato page said, it is likely that AC Milan will talk to Chelsea about bringing Bakayoko back to England earlier than the loan contract has been signed (expires in June 2023). In the contract, Milan has the option to buy Bakayoko outright worth 15 million euros, but perhaps with the current situation, this possibility does not have much hope of becoming a reality.
In fact, Bakayoko has not played since mid-January 2022. He has been grinding his crotch on the bench for the past three months. In between, the player born in 1994 also suffered a muscle-related injury in mid-March. His future at AC Milan is increasingly uncertain.
