Tottenham are running out of patience with Tanguy Ndombele, thus looking to push the midfielder to another club during the 2021/22 mid-season transfer window.

According to Sky Sports , Tottenham decided to push Ndombele out of the club this month. A number of teams in Spain and Italy are ready to rescue the French midfielder from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

On the morning of January 10, Ndombele started the match between Tottenham and Morecambe in the FA Cup. From the 69th minute, Ndombele left the field to make way for Oliver Skipp. Tottenham fans booed and criticized Ndombele right on the field because the French midfielder did not urgently leave the field.

Ndombele showed disappointing form in Tottenham’s 3-1 win. This seems to be the end of Ndombele’s future at Tottenham under coach Antonio Conte.

Ndombele once found himself in the 2020/21 season, when coach Jose Mourinho was still managing Tottenham. By the 2021/22 season, he was not fully trusted by coach Nuno Santos.

Under coach Conte, Tottenham played 10 matches in the Premier League. Conte started one match, came on from the bench for two matches, sat on the bench for five matches and was removed from the list of registered two matches.

Coach Conte does not like the style of midfielder who plays inspired and is not as active in defensive support as Ndombele. The technical quality of the French midfielder is not enough to make up for the shortcoming.

At this time, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Skipp are the central midfield pair trusted by coach Conte. Harry Winks is also regularly used by coach Conte.

Besides Ndombele, Sky Sports confirmed that Dele Alli was also excluded from the plan by coach Conte for the remaining half of the 2021/22 season. Defender Matt Doherty is also almost out of chances to stay.

Ndombele joined Tottenham from Lyon in the summer of 2019. “Rooster” spent 57 million euros, the club’s record price, in exchange for the signature of the most potential midfielder in Ligue 1 at that time.
